Getting Here
Chimayó is easy to reach. It is about 35 minutes north of Santa Fe, about 1 hour and 35 minutes north of Albuquerque, and about 1 hour and 15 minutes south of Taos.
Chimayó makes a great home base for exploring Northern New Mexico. Enjoy the hot springs at Ojo Caliente or the beauty of Georgia O'Keeffe's Abiquiu. Or explore the High Road to Taos Scenic Byway. Wind through high alpine forests dotted with ancient adobe villages nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
